Job Profiles

Job profiles are a generalized set of unique qualifiers that outline the key responsibilities, tasks, and skills for certain jobs. Job profiles allow you to communicate responsibilities, skills, and competencies needed to perform a job. They also help employees understand what is required for positions for which they might aspire. Use the Job Profiles menu to view and create Job Profiles in your LearnCenter. You can map Skills, Users, Learning Plans, Assessments/Surveys, Categories, Goals, and Competencies to Job Profiles.

The following User Permissions are required to use the features in this menu:

  • View Content (parent and sub User Permissions)
  • View Admin Tools
  • Manage Job Profiles (parent and sub User Permissions)

See User Permissions for instructions on granting and denying User Permissions.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click on the Advanced Learning menu to expand it.
  2. Click Job Profiles.

All available Job Profiles are listed on this page. You can filter the list of profiles on the page by category. The Allow Self-map and Allow Self-unmap columns pertain to the Skill Network feature. You can make Job Profiles active or inactive

Additional action icons display when you rest your pointer on a Job Profile row.
